VISUAL IDENTITY

"Manabu" (japanese: "to learn") is a platform that teaches children on global issues and related topics through an animated series, storybooks and interactive games. MA, NA & BU are ambassadors for a good cause, helpful and colorful little travellers. They are constantly discovering new places around the globe, realizing the problems these places face, and giving their best effort to solve them. 

We were commisioned by Amulet Studio  (the creators of "Manabu" platform) to design a visual identity based on the character design by Croatian animator & illustrator Manuel Šumberac. Our approach to this task was very literal, so we decided to make custom lettering for each of the characters (Ma, Na & Bu) — to match their name, appearance and playful personality.
